Youth Signature Gathering for the Ballot Initiative

Youth participation is critical to curb gun violence in our schools, communities, state, and nation! There are several ways for students to be involved in advancing the Initiative Petition (IP#17). A summary of this Petition is available here. We are beginning to gather the needed 140,000 voter signatures to place this Initiative on the 2022 ballot. Here are a few actions you can take now:

1. Sign up to be a Circulator (Signature Gatherer) using this link. There are no age requirements. Anyone can gather signatures.

2. Review the Training Manual and the Circulator Training Video on the LEVO website.

3. Attend a Circulator training for Youth in 2022 (You will be notified).

4. Pledge to obtain 50 or more voter signatures over the next 6-8 months.

5. Recruit friends, classmates, and others in your social network to sign up as Circulators.
